In 2004, Coach Webster was pleased to bring in DC United player Santino Quaranta to meet with our campers. When Santino joined DC United in 2001 he was the youngest player in MLS history. Santino has played with the United States Youth National Teams. Santino played club and high school soccer in Maryland.
Patriot Soccer Camp has one of the most highly qualified coaching staffs in the area. All of our coaches are nationally and/or internationally licensed. We use college and high school age players from the area as counselors to work with each group.
Jack Edwards joins us from near Manchester, England. Jack has coached professionally for years in England. He has worked as a youth coach at Manchester City in the Premiership and with Oldham AC as the youth development director. During his career, Jack has coached and developed players to move into professional and international play. His former players include the likes of Paul Scholes and Ryan Giggs of Manchester United.
Herb Gainey joins us from his position as Head Men's Soccer Coach at St. Mary's College of Maryland. Herb was named Coach of the Year in the Capital Athletic Conference in 2002 and has set records at St. Mary's for wins in a season. Herb has also worked with MSYSA as a coach in ODP.
