In 2003, Coach Webster was pleased to bring in DC United players Alecko Eskandarian and Doug Warren to meet with our campers. Alecko was the 2002 winner of the M.A.C. Hermann Trophy, presented to the NCAA Division I Player of the Year, for his play at the University of Virginia. Alecko and Doug have both played the the United States Youth National Teams. They both competed in with the US Olympic Team as it went through qualifying for the 2004 Athens Olympic Games.
Alecko and Doug spent time talking with the campers and signed a lot of autographs. They signed balls, hats, shirts, balls, and DC United posters!
