Coach Duxbury
Lee Duxbury joined our coaching staff in 2002.  Duxbury plays professionally in England with Oldham Athletic in the English Second Division.  He has been selected as captain of the squad.
Duxbury has played more than 500 matches in the professional ranks in England.  In addition to Oldham, he has played with Bradford City, Rochdale, and Huddersfield.  Duxbury has competed in more than 30 FA Cup matches.  He has scored more than 70 professional goals.
It is a great privilege to have a coach with this playing experience join the Patriot Soccer Camp.
Jack Edwards joined us from near Manchester, England.  Jack has coached professionally for years in England.  He has worked as a youth coach at Manchester City in the Premiership and with Oldham AC as the youth development director.  During his career, Jack has coached and developed players to move into professional and international play.  His former players include the likes of Paul Scholes and Ryan Giggs of Manchester United.

Herb Gainey joined us from his position as Head Men's Soccer Coach at St. Mary's College of Maryland.  Herb was named Coach of the Year in the Capital Athletic Conference in 2002 and has set records at St. Mary's for wins in a season.  Herb has also worked with MSYSA as a coach in ODP.
In 2003, Coach Webster was pleased to bring in DC United players Alecko Eskandarian and Doug Warren to meet with our campers.  Alecko was the 2002 winner of the M.A.C. Hermann Trophy, presented to the NCAA Division I Player of the Year, for his play at the University of Virginia.  Alecko and Doug have both played the the United States Youth National Teams.  They both competed in with the US Olympic Team as it went through qualifying for the 2004 Athens Olympic Games.
In 2004, Coach Webster was pleased to bring in DC United player Santino Quaranta to meet with our campers.  When Santino joined DC United in 2001 he was the youngest player in MLS history.   Santino has played with the United States Youth National Teams.  Santino played club and high school soccer in Maryland.

Patriot Soccer Camp has one of the most highly qualified coaching staffs in the area.  All of our coaches are nationally and/or internationally licensed.  We use college and high school age players from the area as counselors to work with each group.
The Patriot Soccer Camp is directed by Jaime Webster, Assistant Coach with the Men's Soccer program at St. Mary's College of Maryland and former Head Coach of the Boys Soccer program at Northern High School.  In addtition to his work with the college and high school programs, he has been involved with the camp program since its inception in 1997.  For more information on Coach Webster and the rest of the camp staff, click on the link above.
